We are a christian family, we have 3 white bio children and 3 adopted children of color. We want to live in the country, with a couple acres and a few animals. We homeschool and would be considered conservative Christians. Nothing to strange, my boys hunt, I enjoy a beer now and then, I think we would make great neighbors. We are friendly and not stand-off-ish. My husband is a tractor trailer mechanic. We currently live in the East about an hour from the ocean. Although I'm happy here, I've always wanted to live in western VA until we started adopting, now I wonder if we would be welcomed there.

  1. i would move to Wyoming and no there not cowboys gust the really small towns.Try casper.Maby even Bar nunn. There is allot of places to hunt and grate for home schooling.it's not that bad.you could even go to the tetons.i went there last winter and it was beautiful.

  2. you can move to vine-land new jersey  you can find everything  you like to do there and there's nice neighbors around

  3. Anywhere in the Middle East.Don't come to Europe though.

  4. You might find Arkansas to your liking--or some parts of Oklahoma.  I've lived in both (quite a few years ago) the folks there seem a tad more tolerant of mixed race families--I said a tad.  You will find it difficult (unfortunately) most places in the country side you may go.

  5. Wow, we have a lot in common!

I am a Christian mom of three (biological children) and we hope to adopt internationally, though I am not sure if that is going to happen.  We homeschool, and live on a ten acre hobby farm in rural Charleston County, S.C. with a large variety of pets.

Is traveling an option?  Perhaps you can visit different places that you think you might be happy at, to get a feel for the area.  I think it would be difficult to choose a new home wihtout having visited there prior.

    I wish you the best!

  6. i would deffbatly recemand that you should try maryland  or pencillvania ..iether way anywere you go your going to someone whos totally ignorant and rude believe i know ..and west virginia is a beautiful state but the racial tenstion there is pretty high ..there are lots of acres in pencivania and there more open sinece  there up north ...and you shouldent label your kids ...its makes a seperation,,,cuase if u do everyone one else will....and calling them colla instead of where ever there from is odd and simple i dotn mean to be mean i just deal with a lot of diffrent races and colored culd emply as an insult ..if there from india or africa or brazil u could say that or if there just afican american and u dont know there ancsertery..but please its  great that u adopted his god bless,,..and i would relly recemned those two states..but if u really like cold or hot climates dacota is pretty boring and not rasist ..but its up to you..hope everything works out

    Peace,Love,and Family

  7. Hi - You sound like a wonderful family!  My personal opinion is that since you are Christian, I do believe that God has placed the desire to live in western Virginia in your heart for a reason.  I believe wherever you end-up, God will have prepared that particular place for you, including the neighbors.  Why don't you research different areas in western Virginia for yourself???   You can look online, check out some Chambers of Commerce in different areas, etc., etc.  I think that would actually be a wonderful place for you simply because it is already in your heart.  Do a little legwork and find out more information.

Many blessings to you and your family and I wish God's blessings on your future!
