Can anyone suggest a spot to have lunch entertainment, this time of year, in Toronto, Canada?

The CN Tower Restaurant doesn't open for lunch ontil March & Yuk Yuk's has only evening performances. We thought of Medevil Times but I would think, it would draw a lot of folks with kids. We are 5 women out to celebrate a birthday. Are there any lunch & who-done-it restaurants or anything out there? Will appreciate any suggestions but no strip club show. Not this outing anyway. Thank-you

  1. I think the Sultans Tent on Front E between Yonge & Church offers belly dancers during lunch.

  2. East  Side Marios.

  3. Entertainment at lunch time is a tough one. Most establishments in Toronto that offer live entertainment, typically do so at night. However, there is a huge list of restaurants and bars with food on menupalace that have entertainment. I suggest you simply go throught the list, call up the individual establishments (or send them an email), and ask them if they have anything at lunch. I hope that helps, sorry I could'nt be more exact.

  4. To add onto Davids answer, Teppanyaki is a great idea.  There is a place at the Royal York Hotel called Benihana Steakhouse which was great last time i was there.

If you're looking for a more upscale place i can reccommend 3:  ByMark (eat upstairs at the bar), Canoe (great views of the city), and Ki (Japanese food, but not Benihana)

  5. What about a Tepanyaki (sp?!) Japanese restaurant (where the chef comes out and cooks in front of you)?  I'm not sure of any exact locations, but it's the first thing that came to my head.

Also you could try a Korean BBQ.  There's a lot of them so it shouldn't be too hard to find one.
