I want the same effect of small flowers tumbling over a small wall. I live in the North of England

  1. I LOVE Erigeron karvinskianus...just love it.

I was also thinking of suggesting Campanula too. I think Campanula poscharskyana would be good. There is a purple form and a white form and it trails and spreads nicely.

A hardy geranium would work too if it's not too shady. Here are a few that are nice: Geranium 'Biokovo', Geranium 'Wargrave Pink', Geranium ' AT Johnson', Geranium phaeum (white or dark purple form), Geranium sanguineum...there really are a lot of choices in Geraniums.

A trailing Lobelia, if you don't mind an annual would be darling.

Cymbalaria muralis (kenilworth ivy) is cute too-looks like a mini Linaria.

    Good luck! :)

  2. You could try Campanulas or violets.

  3. Saponaria { tumbling ted } is a perennial which drops over walls and is very colourful { pink }.
