I don't do much heavy trail riding, but I am starting to do more climbing and the Manitou Six that came with my bike is way too soft. I'm thinking of getting a shock with lockout, but all the ones I'm seeing are too expensive. Can anyone suggest an inexpensive stiff front shock.

  1. Check http://www.mtbr.com for reviews and pricing

  2. marzocchi forks are pretty decent. not that expensive. check out their website.

  3. check out fox shox. they make alot of quality shocks, you can get a heavier spring or adjust the rebound or add air to adjust it to your weight.
