Can anyone suggest any destinations for in eastern mexico, something cheap with nice beaches,?

there is such a wealth of info online, i dont have the time to sort through it! a short 3 day getaway from houston,(3 adults, 1 toddler) we speak spanish and have been to mexico before. any websites or tips on how to get cheap flights would be appreciated too. thanks!

I would take the 3 day cruise to Cozymel! I am familiar with the Carnival (I think) cruise that leaves Mobile, AL. But I bet there is one leaving from the Texas side also. I think you could go to cruise.com and find a link quickly.

BE CAREFUL! Mexico is a little dicey right now! Anywhere people are being beheaded causes concern.

Your time actually in Mexico would be limited; 2 days at sea.

But Cozumel looks b-utyful!

use bookit.com or cheapcaribbean.com  continental has some great flights out of houston.  playa del carmen is not far from the cancun airport (since you only have three days).  some all inclusives will let you book only three days, check out the kid friendly hotels.  we stayed at dreams in tulum a couple of times, and they have a great kids program.  the kids there seemed to be having as great of time as the adults.  tulum is a bit far for a three day stint, but i know there is a dreams all inclusive in cancun.  have fun!

I would leave the beutufull one of a kind quintana roo and leave to Huatulco, its beutiful and safe.
