Can anyone suggest me a good/cheap hotel in the heart of Madrid? Can I find anything with a budget of 100euro?

I can recommend the Hostal Riesco, just off the Puerta el Sol. This is NOT a "hostel" it has private rooms w/bath very clean. Only 50 euros. See review in link.

(A "Hostal" in Spain does not have the same meaning as "hostel")

I stayed in a little Hostel called Cruz Sol, right next to the

Plaza Mayor, and a stone's throw from Puerta del Sol.  Central enough for you?  maybe 75€/night, discount for full week (and we had a triple for that)

I don't know how old you are so a hostel might not work for you. Usually they are for younger crowds. But I would check our hostels if you don't mind mingling with people or even sharing a room. The price is appx. 17 to share a room  to 50 Euros a night for a private room. Hostels range from very humble to great personalities with wonderful atmosphere. If you are looking to meet people this is a great way to go!

I haven't stayed at this particular hostel but the location SOL and one at OPERA are very central locations - great for touring!
