Can anyone suggest me a good topic to use for our language teaching program for exceptional children?

"My Favorite Flavor of Jello" is a cute topic.  It lends itself to the five senses.  You can't hear Jello, but you can listen to the paper envelope rustle.  You can mix Jello using measurements.  You can spell J-e-l-l-o.  You can rhyme Jello.  Of course there is taste and touch.  You can make rainbow jello.  Just do it.
