  1. a associate of mine puts one of his ads in the Welcome bastket that is given to each family that delivers a newborn baby. Works great he says. It is one of those ureka moments when a baby is born and they wanna makesure the kid is safe if they get hurt. haha kinda mean marketing but he makes good money off such a simple thing.


  2. The most efficient way is to let someone else market insurance and you buy the qualified lead from them. You can purchase leads over the internet. If you find out that the leads are "bad" it's normally the way you are working them. I have seen "bad" leads given to an agent who was told these were super hot leads and the belief that the leads were good created the positive attitude needed to create a sale.

  3. Like the newborn response, above, folks who are divorced with children have a need to protect the life of the person paying child support.

    I bought term insurance on my ex when we divorced, as well as term on myself so if I die, there'd be "child support" coming from me.

    Also, most children are healthy.  It's a perfect time to "lock in" coverage (whole life) that they can own and choose to keep or cash in when they become an adult.  If you explain that they may become uninsurable in the future, selling insurance on a child becomes a no-brainer.

  4. It's not all about YOU! (Life insurance is not for the dead, it is for the living left behind.) Get a good slogan for your company. Advertise that if you buy insurance and you do not die, your money will be refunded!
