That has experience dealing with OMVIC in regards to a claim to collect my money back for a car that I purchased. A settlement out of court was reached but no cash settlement.I have to get it on my own which I am entitled to it but OMVIC is refusing to process my claim.

  1. These are not recommendations.  I am not accquainted with any of these lawyers or firms.  They are names pulled out of a Yahoo! search using the terms: +toronto +lawyer +settlement

    Good luck with your claim.

  2. dont they have phone books up their?if they do, look in the yellow pages, their should be all kinds of lawyers

  3. Call the Law Society of Upper Canada. You can find their number in the white pages of the business directory phone book, or call local information at 411. If you give them a brief run down of your situation, they can assist you in finding a suitable Lawyer.

  4. Look in their local yellow pages.

  5. Call Toronto information and ask them for the Toronto Bar Association or something similar.  In the US you can call a state's bar association and they can refer you and give you the phone number of a lawyer that handles your kind of case, i,e, the State of Florida has the Florida Bar Association and they can refer you to any attorney in any city in Florida for whatever it is you need.
