Every one which I buy seems go break or not pick up enough. I even bought a Dyson and that broke too! I always thought that you get what you pay for but apparently this is not the case.

  1. Depends on the intended use.

  2. HENRY IS TOPS....HE'S  ÃƒÂ‚£100 and the best thing since sliced bread.

Stuff the hundreds and hundreds you pay out for fancy Dysons.

They are CR@P NEXT TO GOOD OLD  - INDUSTRIOUS HENRY.

    I promise you won't spend a better 100 quid..........xxxxxxxxxxxx

  3. Try a second-hand CLEAN sanitized Kirby antique. Go to Goodwill or Salvation Army or other store.  I used to sell the things as a teen to RICH people who had the $500 plus and wanted several books of Green Stamps as a BONUS!

Maybe $50 max and plug it, try it FIRST...before you buy...

  4. kirby is best they retail high but you can get a used one for 800 usd and it will last forever .........Rainbow is also very good

  5. I've never had any problems with Dyson

  6. vax!  bomb-proof vacuum cleaners lol

  7. Don't think there is a best one, it's simply just your luck. I have had quite a few over the years.  About 8  years ago now T J Hughes were selling a red Hoover Turbo for £49.99. I bought this as a spare for upstairs.  Soon after my main hoover broke down and I just simply never got round to replacing it.  This little cheapy Hoover has been absolutely great, fairly large house and used most days.

  8. Hiya, i rebuild factory return vacs, i'm seeing lots of Hoover upright turbo bagless so don't buy one of those, although the bagged ones are V good, Miele are good, Henry's are V good cylinders, Dyson are good but you have to keep the filters clean and the cyclone unit brushed with a soft brush to keep the air flow generating or the motors soon burn out. The Vax 1800w cylinders lose power but the upright Turbo's seem good.

  9. I know Dysons are much better than the rest...

I dont know if Siemens make hoovers, but they are the best in whatever thay make so if they do hoovers than try Siemens... Usually much more expensive but the quality outshines all other brands.

  10. I have a top of the range Dyson and never had a problem and at last a vacuum that picks up everything.

I will buy the same again next time.

  11. Try the SEBO Automatic X-series - cost about £240.  I know this is expensive but the cleaning power is the best we have ever had, including a Henry, a Dyson and a Hoover.

The upright machine is self-adjusting for height so no need to stop and change settings.

It removes cat hairs from deep pile carpets and is simply the most effective vacuum cleaner we have owned.

  12. I know Dyson's have a rep for being flimsy, but they really are the best (even said so in the mosil on Sunday), and they now come with 5yrs parts and labour guarantee.

Which say they are the best as well. I think they had 6 models in the top 10.

  13. kirby . worth every penny ,have it serviced by the makers and it will last forever. we had a dyson once and the machine is a complete con just like the designer would,nt have another given to me, of course this is only my opinion but when somone says dyson i always think, emperors new clothes!

  14. henry are the best

  15. Mine is wonderful and I've had it for years.  It's called a Sebo.  I got it from John Lewis.  They are not cheap but they really are the best.

  16. Henry.

Forget the hype (I expect cleaners to last more than 4 years so think the Dyson recommendation a bit thin). See what professional cleaners use. If you've ever had the misfortune to be stuck at Gatwick airport overnight you'll see the early morning cleaners trundling round with Henrys. Relatively cheap - easy to fix when they go wrong (rare) and extra long hose so you can clean the whole stair from the bottom. Really, I should have shares, you know.

  17. Dyson, had mine ages.

  18. Henry!  Henry hoovers are by far the best I've ever used and you can get all sorts of brilliant attachments.
