When you buy things you are demanding those products and services.  The people who sold them to are supplying them.   As far as what you learnd about your buying habits, thats really up to you.

If you purchased less of something that you wanted because the price was high, that would show an elastic demand.

If you purchased as much as you needed regardless of the price that would show an inelastic demand.
