Can anyone tell me, do bugs sleep?

Question

K so I was thinking, do bugs like worms and flies and stuff, sleep? I feel like they would have to right? Weird question but yeah. . .

And please no smartie pants answers like worms arent bugs theyre blah blah blah. . .

But really though, I feel like I see bugs at all hours, and never just docile sitting there. So when do they sleep? And is it for a long time?

Apparently, they do not actually "sleep," but they do take time out to rest.  Here's a site that explains it.

If you ask this in one of the science sections---preferably the biology section---someone could probably give you a better answer.  Most of the people who hang out here are social studies and humanities folks.
