Can anyone tell me? What is Obama going to do for the country?

I've asked this question before many times, but NOBODY seems to be able to tell me what Obama is going to do. I know he is black, (he has made sure that we all know that on a daily basis) and he is going to bring the troops right home when he is elected (yea, right), but what else is he going to do. The people that are voting for him do not seem to be able to tell me what he is going to do for the country. They just know that MTV, some uneducated movie star, or the media in general want you to vote for Obama. Please tell me what he is going to do. There is more going on with the USA besides the war. I'm interested to know what he is going to do for ME and America as well as the War in Iraq. How is electing him going to benefit me and my family as well as other middle class families?

Interestingly, he is not black but mixed.In apartheid South Africa he would have been called coloured. It is funny that if a black man has a child with a white woman the child is black.But if a white guy has a child with a black woman it is white. Or is it? The only white people I have ever seen are cadavers on a mortuary slab.

Its things like this that Obama will gradually change, one hopes.

Obama will raise taxes on people who are upper middle class.  Obama will attempt diplomacy abroad and probably get nowhere.  Iran will attack Israel and Obama will try to stay out of it but will realize he can not.

We will be treated to a person who speaks well...a plus.

Some wacko yahoo is going to shoot Obama and race riots will come back which will make the 60's look like a joke.

Nothing. It's all talk. A president doesn't have the kind of control it takes to fix the real problems the US has. The real power actually belongs to the local mayors and county commissioners in an area. Most people don't even know who they are or that they are there.

They all spout rubbish to get elected. They won't do anything. He cannot just click his fingers and do stuff without going through the Senate. He reminds me of the typical African Black Dictator - they promise the world and do nothing. I lost any respect I had when he started using his children on stage with the I love you daddy rubbish - pass the sick bucket. How he intends to just withdraw troops from Iraq is ridiculous and then he just wants them to go to Afghanistan.

here in the UK, all we hear is that he's going to 'change' things - we have absolutly no idea of his policies - has he got any? Please tell us, as it's going to affect us too here over the water!

Raise everyone's taxes, in one way or another.  He and his supporters will talk a good game about it only affecting the rich, but besides the income tax he also is going to raise corporate taxes (loss of jobs, higher prices) and install a wind-fall profits tax on oil (take a wild guess what that will do to the price of gas?).

Guess which income group will be most affected by those two little gems that no one seems to be talking about?
