So it needs to be customizable and free, i'm tying to make one for my bro, but he says the ones hes looking at are c**p, so any suggestions?

  2. You can either buy a domain with hosting that supports php and mysql - then download software such as phpBB and this will be fully customizable - or you can find a free forum host such as freeforums.org.
