Can anyone tell me a bit about Auckland NZ?????

From personal experience would be preferred!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would rly like to travel there next year and would like to know sumfink about it eg pretty, amzing places to go and see ect.

Auckland is the largest city in NZ. It is very quiet and peaceful. Its a pretty good place to settle down. auckland has some of the best schools and good university. West auckland is good. Places u should visit are places around bucklands beach, howick and museums and gardens near the university of auckland. South auckland isn't very safe, especailly with all the gangs at night. Autumn is pretty beautiful there and summer time u should go to Goat Island, 2 hrs drive from howick.

Yeah! I can tell you some things.

It is the largest city in New Zealand with a population of around 1.2 million.

I personally found Auckland to be very different to the rest of the country. Auckland is definitely more city like with large high rises and lots of roads and houses.

I drove into Auckland from the south so to be honest, my immediate impression of the place was a dumb. But as I got in towards the city I found it very much like Sydney and rather nice. The North Shore is really nice with plenty of beaches with nice restaurants!

In Auckland I would recommend MOTAT which is comprised of two separate museums. The Auckland museum is also worth a look.

My favorite in Auckland was the sky tower. You can get the best views from up there! There is also a jump off of it which is fun!

Mission Bay is a nice area which is located east of the city. South Auckland is a dump. It's not as bad as people say but it's still pretty bad. However one thing to see there is the theme park Rainbow's end.

Try and get a boat and go out on the Auckland Harbor! Beautiful!

I live in Auckland, New Zealand. Well it's the largest city in New Zealand even though Wellington is the capital. It's not that great actually there are only 2 major shopping malls here.

The best place to go for scenary ISN'T in Auckland but somewhere in New Plymouth where there are mountains and you can go skiing and things.

If you want to come to Auckland the places to go are Skycity (use to be the tallest building in the world but then got taken) you can do the Sky Jump that's like high up in the sky but cost around $100 new zealand dollars! GAHH!
