Can anyone tell me a good indian resturant in NSW, Australia?

Hi,

I live in a small town near Terrigal, nsw Australia but myself and my partner regularly go to Sydney. We are looking for a good Indian resturant near us or in Sydney we have tried pratically everyone we have come across and whilst their meals are adequate it pales into comparison with anything we have eaten in the UK. We love going out together for meals and love a good Indian any suggestions would be great!!!

I used to work at The Copperpot indian Resteraunt at Menai in Sydney. It's the best food and worth the drive if you ever have time to kill and hungry bellies.

Their butter chicken is the best and try the naan with bits of tandoori chicken and cheese in it. I gained a whole lot of weight working there at the time, but it was so worth it!

Abi's in Strathfield is very good

there are plenty of online reviews that you can read, but I have eaten there and its very good

Mum will make you some butter chicken if youd like.

But I guess go to Cleveland St in Surry Hills, there are about 5  or 6 in a row.

theres a good one in newtown it doesnt look that good but the food is good.

Zaffraans in Darling Harbour is the best I've ever had. There's also a great one in Crows Nest but I can't remember the name.
