It would probably be better to edit them on your computer.  Image editing software has a lot more features than web sites.

Consumer Search collects product reviews from all over the Internet, summarizes them, and makes recommendations.  They have a good article on photo-editing software and recommend a couple of free ones: http://www.consumersearch.com/www/softwa...

Although C.S. does not recommend it, I use XnView.  I find it to be easy to use and it has a lot of features.  Also, it's free.  http://www.xnview.com/
