Can anyone tell me a plant or grass that smells of vanilla?

There are certain forms of Clematis Montana (NOT all) which are so incredibly sweetly scented of fresh sugar cookies. The only way I can think of to obtain them for scent is to find a specialty nursery when the hybrids are in bloom and make your selection then.

theirs the actual vanillia bean plant which is tropical, but not too exiting. the pods are green as well as the leaves and even the flowers.

you should go with jasmine. a nice smell very similar to vanilla, also gardenia which doesnt smell exactly like vanilla, but similar and the smell is very sweet

A dense, clumpy grass that releases a strong vanilla fragrance when cut and dried. Useful in potpourri as it retains its scent for years. Needs full sun.
