There's a family tree on http://www.familysearch.org/ that dates the Landon family back to John Crowder, who was born around 1792 in Glasgow, Scotland.  (His son, Nathaniel, was born in Scotland and died in Mitcham, Australia.)  These are the ancestors of Doris Mary Landon (1909-1979) of Port Pirie.  She had at least 4 siblings (including Muriel, Arthur, and Effie).

Do those names ring any bells?
