Can anyone tell me about the Crawford power plant in Little Village?

Im doing a report about the power plant and I need to know about the dangers it causes to the community as well as surrounding communities. I also have to develop a plan of action to get the community aware of the dangers. This question centers around Mayor Dayley's Green Chicago (I'm trying to see if its really as "green" as he says it is.
