Can anyone tell me about the MagicJack???

as soon as I get high-speed internet.....I want to get magicjack so I can save money! I just so sick and tired of AT&T high rip-off bills!!

  1. The MagicJack is a USB thumb drive with a telephone jack on the end of it so that you can plug a regular telephone into it.

    The USB device has the MagicJack VoIP software in it that automatically installs itself when plugged into your PC USB port. They advertise unlimited phone calls over the MagicJack VoIP network to regular landphones anywhere in USA/Canada. The service costs $20/year + $20 for the MagicJack USB device. So $40 to get started for the first year, and then $20/year there after.

    It is still in beta phase, but they are heavily marketing it with infomercial style of advertising, which turns me off. But, a lot of people say they like it and some have problems with it. You will have to spend $40 to find out for yourself how you like it...

    I personally use numerous other VoIP services for myself with which I am satisfied with. But, these are all about personal choice.
