Can anyone tell me about the target audiences of Father Ted.?

Its for a media exam and the question set is:

Choose two sitcoms designed for two different audiences and explain, how and why they appeal. Give as much detail as you can.

Any help would be welcome thanks.

And if you've got any other sugestions i.e. a better SitCom to use please suggest one.

I am a senior citizen and I loved that show!!!

I would suggest checking into Internet Movie Data Base (imdb.com) and BBCAmerica.com.  You may find the info you need there.
