Can anyone tell me about the taxes that lorries in the uk pay?

i saw a picture recently saying that with one tax british drivers have to pay a certain tax or some charges in addition to insurence road and fuel taxes etc whereas european registered lorries dont have to pay a certain tax to use british roads can anyone tell me what this tax or charge is

hope i have my facts right and someone can help

  1. yeah you are pretty much spot on. In the uk, lorries have to pay environmental tax, road tax, fuel tax..., and who knows where it will end. Currently it is cheaper to register lorries in elsewhere, so if possible, should do so.
