I'm flying to Boston from Denver (and back) soon and I would just like to know about the whole experience it was. From the beginning like walking into the airport, check-in, security checkpoints, boarding, being in the plane, taking off, being in the air, landing!!!! Just everything. Write generously! In detail. Please and Thanks. Happy flying!!!

  1. My first flight ever was from JFK to FLL and it was great. When I first got there I was totally amazed! Security wasn't much of a fun part but it didn't matter to me. I didn't take care of the check-in(my parents did) so it didnt bother me. Boarding was a tiny bit nerve-racking. Taking off was just awesome, I was sooo excited! It was sooo cool. The landing was the best!!

When I became a pilot for jetBlue, my first flight was from New York to West Palm Beach in Florida. It was my first time flying an airline plane, and it was the greatest experience in the world...I thought, wow, I really love doing this.

  2. It is not so bad, i thought i would be scared, but i was more bored and cramped than scared. First you check your bags, then you go through security, you have to take off your shoes and put your carry-on through the metal detector, then you sit around and wait for your plane. Its pretty cool when you break through the clouds.

  3. I can't remember my first time since I was a small itty bitty baby. But I do remember a few...I remember having to go to the airport at night. My dad drove us there. We kissed my dad goodbye once we got there...My mom checked the bags in while me and my brother fought..I went through security after my brother, before my mom. I had to put all my stuff in a bin...We sat down at the gate until we boarded the plane...I got the window seat and my mom sat in the middle. My brother sat in the aisle seat. My mom held my brother's hand while we took off. I looked out the window...Being in the air I slept, ate, drew, talked. During the landing my brother and my mom switched seats because he likes landing. And we pretended we were in a race...Then we went to baggage claim. And we saw my uncle and he took us to my grandma's house.

  4. it was fun, i was scared, it was nice, i loved it. you should love it too. it is great

  5. My first airplane ride was when I was 5, and I was just going to Cancun. But it was my first. =) I was going from IAH- whatever cancun's airport is. I had loads of fun just in the airport!! But one bad thing (like always) IAH's security is terrible!!! The line is ALWAYS huge!!!! But n e ways, the airport for me was fun. Going through teh terminal, and getting on the plane, was such an adventure! I could barely sit down and stay still, becasue I was so excited!! But the fligh attendant, yelled at me, so I got scared and hid behind my parents. The take off was the best. Except for the fact that your ears pop like crazy, on your first plane trip. Now im used to it!=) And just looking around when your going up, is amazing. Up in the air, of course there is nothing to see but the clouds (which u see some unusual looking clouds up there!) but i always take pictures!!! then the landing, i dont really like the landing, except the big bounces they make when they actually hit the ground!!! =) And all I remember after that ( form my first trip) is walking out in the scorching heat, and having to walk to cancun's airport form the plane!!! =)

  6. i was 8 years old. i was scared if any airplane accidents might occure. before aboared, the managers check every bag you have for sissors nifves and any weoponic tools in case. when i got onto the plane the passage way was narrow.(of course because it's the lowest class.)

it has tiny window with dobble shiled  on every row of plane.

when the airplane rose to the sky, i felt gravitational pressure on me and my ear started to hurt a bit. i got used to it though.

it's a long boring time at the plane so it's a good idea to bring a entertaing things like mp3 player or a book. in a long ride, they might play a movie in the airplane. the provides suppers or snacks during the ride. it  tasted good...

anyway when you get off you should get your stuffs and tada!!!

    you are there.

i hope you'll have a fun and safe ride.

  7. My first flight experience was probably about 2 years after 9/11.  I flew out of Dallas/Fort worth airport to Florida ( i think) and then to Haiti..  (I was doing a missions trip.  Trust me, I wasn't there for sight seeing!)

Anyway, the flight there was really good.  The flight attendants were nice, the security was respectful, and it was a pleasant experience.  The take off was very smooth, flight was great, and when we landed it was one of those perfect landings where you can't even tell when the wheels touched the ground...

Then we entered the haitian airport.... GOOD LORD, was this wretched.  LOL  It took forever to get our bags back off the plane... like, 2 hours, I think...

The flight back was HORRENDOUS.  We showed up to the airport about 2 hours before our flight... 4 hours later, we boarded the plane... er, excuse me, shoe box.  Oh man, they stuffed us in this little plane and flew us back into the states.  The landing ( and I use the term lightly) was reminiscent of a world war 2 crash landing.  In fact, I'm not even sure the "landing" was intentional, but instead we just ran out of fuel in the middle of the air and just happened to be over a runway.  Anyway, after the pilot slammed the plane into the ground, went halfway down the runway, went back to get the wheel that snapped off, and then forced the plane to limp to the gate, we all piled off what I believe to have been one of the first test models the Wright Brothers used before developing the plane they successfully flew in.

We then had to sprint to the other side of the airport to catch our other flight back to Dallas.  This plane was BEAUTIFUL.  It was a full size plane that had a tv monitor at every seat.  We were able to watch whatever movie we wanted to during the flight.  This flight was actually just like the first one.

Overall, it was a great experience, but man..... I could have done without the plane in the middle that demonstrated the laws of gravity to us so well.

  8. my story:

i was at logan international airport in boston and i was checking in for the very first time and then this lady says u have to let ppl over 40 years of age check in first so i let every over 40 then i checked in but that aisl was closed so i had to wait in line again. so i checked in then my flight was departing in 30 min. im like o dang. security took me like 10 min. I was running then a staff member stopped me and said that i had to walk due to safety. so eventually i was late for my flight. i was in bussiness class and they finishe boarding coach(last person when i got there). then ilined up but they said i couldnt get on because the bussiness and first class road thing was closed. i was so f****** mad!!! And thats my airport story.

airplane:  I was on malaysia and sinagpore  airlines.(first and coach). i was sleeping then all of a sudden this lfight attendant wakes me up an says"sir did u order this 3 pack meal(breakfast and lunch and dinner. that included bacon, pot pit, and other tasty stuff.) so i was like yes i did(i dont think i did though) so then after they gave me a bowl of noodles without a fee and then a crab mixed with some simple soy sauce with some stir fry chicken
