Does anyone know about this saddle? I'm thinking about buying it. I have long legs but am pretty skinny. I do jumping and dressage and hope to do some low level shows this year. I can't seem to find this saddle on the internet anywhere else. Is there another name for it? (Like the Hawk or the Eventing Falcon saddle? Or is this saddle not made anymore?)

Thanks!

  1. Well, the one Falcon I've seen in person had a broken tree and Trevor at Broken Horn couldn't replace it.  I believe they are out of business, which is a shame, because that was a REALLY nice saddle.

Try something like a Stubben A/P, Kieffer or Pariani.  They are still around.

  2. Why don't you call up and ask the owner?! Make sure it's your size. Here's a seat size calculator: http://www.evideofiles.com/calculators2/...

  3. http://www.ejeffries.co.uk/saddles/Falco...  its made in the UK

  4. I don't think they make that one anymore.

However it is a very good make.

  5. It's an all purpose saddle pretty much and it sells useally around $1000 or a little less

    WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT

So solid, secure, great jumping saddle especially for cross country, beautiful soft, supple leather, very cushy seat, flap long enough and seat deep enough for dressage, very good contact with horse, most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden in!! Also fit my very high withered thoroughbred.
