Basically I decided I'd challenge myself and start a new sport this Winter :) But I don't want to do something boring like football, netball, tennis etc but something interesting and unusual! I'm good at horse riding already and I was wondering if people can give me suggestions for interesting and fun sports please? (i live in the uk btw)

  1. If you enjoy horse riding how about going into show jumping, horse racing, dressage?

If you're looking for thrill, skydiving, scuba diving, bungee jumping, snow boarding, skiing, bobsledding, white-water rafting can be fun!

If you like bikes, theres moto-x, track racing or for bike (without an engine) theres BMX, mountain biking.

I don't do all these sports but I would def, give them a try if I had the time.

The only one I do is deep sea scuba diving. I used to race horses when I had one, not professionally but it was fun.

  2. Skateboarding. I know most people think it's a male dominated  sport, but who cares, ya know? I skateboard and im a girl!

I really ecommend it cause it's very likely that there's a skatepark near where you live.

Btw skateboarding is so cool, it takes a few weeks, maybe a month or two to learn the basics, but after that you can do sooooooo many tricks. Me thinks grinding down rails is the best part!

    Hope i helped lol

  3. snooker

  4. Fencing,

    Archery,

    Volley Ball,

    Rowing?

    Sailing?

    Canoe?

There is a list of sports and pictures that are being done in the olympics on this page: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/olympics/

Some of them are interesting and you can have a look at what they are if you don't know them, or understand them.
