  1. What would you like to know? I just returned from a mission there with my church!

  2. Ohmy gosh I'm Nicaraguan my mom sayes that that is where all of the Afro-Nicas are and Chinese- Nicas

  3. First of all Bluefields is located in the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua. Very far away from the capital which is Managua. You can get there by 2 ways.

    1) Car - travel by car from Managua all the way to El Rama (5hour drive), then get on a boat from El Rama directly to Bluefields (2hour ride).

    2) Plane - Buy a ticket from local airlines (atlantic airlines o la costena) prices go from $150 - $200. The plane goes directly from Managua to Bluefields.

Well, Bluefields is a small town, where most habitans are descendants of African people. But through history, ethnic groups have mixed, for example the mestizos (spanish - indian), zambos (african - indian), white (mostly spanish, european).

Bluefields has grown throughout the last decade, it is a bigger place where commerce is starting to grow. The problem is, that the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua has been forgotten by the government. No President has paid attention to the part of the country, so the people there have stood on their own feet.

TRAVELING - From Bluefields you can take a boat to Pearl Lagoon and its Keys or Corn Island, El Bluff and Haulover Bay, definitely beautiful places that you should visit.

With what else could I help?
