How do I loosen a nut on my tile cutter to fit a new blade. any tips?

Basically the wheel and the blade keep turning when I am turning the spanner so the nut holding them all together does not budge.

  1. Never let a nut loose on a tile cutter, could be dangerous lol

  2. Place a piece of wood in the blade to lock it while you undo the the nut

  3. Clamp the blade with mole grips. Also bear in mind that it may be a left hand thread.

  4. Lock the blade from turning with a vise-gri(locking pliers) and loosen the nut.

    Good luck.

  5. there are normally two flats on the spindle on the other side of the blade where you can get a spanner on.. if there is not much clearance here from the bench top to get in with a mormal adjustable.. try a thin bicycle type spanner
