I did a temp job working in someone's home and was told I was welcome to use the computer. As the responsiblities were min to nil I took them up on this offer. On the return of their regular employe with whom Iam friends SHE has informed me that the gentleman of the house hold was reading everything I did online from his computer at work. Iam not embarrassed by anything I discussed but Iam a bit offened and curious how accurate this is...

  1. He probably had CyberPatrol on the computer, so he was able to record your screen. Or, he could have intercepted the LAN connection and knew all the sites you go to. They do this at my school, and man, I hate them.

  2. if it is not your computer, no.

unless you meant, is it true, is he reading my emails, then yes. very easy to do, because he owns the computer.

you can either run antispyware to see what he has and turn it off while on the computer,or, (my favorite) write an email about having a great time with his wife and her young rich p**n star boyfriend and selling the video on the internet . after the fight, when he comes to you to prove that he caught all of you, you say" that was a short story i was writing, how did you see it"?

    problem solved.

or, an email about hiding the money you stole in his house, let him tear out the walls.
