  1. Boot camp is something that you will hate at the time, Have lasting effects, and over the years fondly remember. It will set a course for the rest of your life. The rest years from now will be just great stories.

  2. It would help with some or the Questions you have to Know what Branch of the Military you are asking about.  All branches go to diffrent places and do diffrent things.  But the one thing that you need to know (and it its dependant on the service as well)

Air Force (Sir Yes Sir or Ma'am)

    Army (Yes Sergeant)

    Marines (Yes Drill Sergeant)

Navy (I have no clue they have thier own language)

  3. there are many different bootcamps go on line to the one your interested in  just go to ask.com  and put in boot camp and the the state you would to find it in

  4. went to parris island, sc for bootcamp. was 13 1/ weeks long for the marine corps.  we ate salads with whatever dressing was avail. whatever main dish (fish, hamburger, etc) you ate.  there was no picking and choosing what you ate, most of us ate anything we could get our hands on. bread with peanut butter, boiled eggs, grapes, milk, oj, grape juice apple juice or water...the rooms, or squadbays suck. 1 person needs to be up for rifle watch (*person rotates every couple hrs or so) few people get assigned to do the company's laundry. wear uniforms and gear. (bunch of useless ****) have 2 canteen with water in each pocket. hat, undershirts. you are allowed to wear a cross necklace to bootcamp, you cant take much else..no make up or anything crazy like that, you wont get it until you are done. age group mostly people right outta high school, some are mothers that want to do something for their families, some wanting to get college paid for and a few court ordered to do something like this or go to jail for a long time! there are a lot of people that are stuck there on the island have been hurt in boot camp that help out the drill sergeants...i think their medical files get lost. i met a few that have been waiting to go home for a couple of years, its really pathetic of the government.  they offer different church services, but they mostly pray to the marines in the sky, not God. yes, true this was MY personal experience. maybe you would have better luck. if you are considering going to bootcamp...id make sure this is something you really want to do with your life.
