  1. I'm guessing that your talking about the horse Curlin who was in the Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and Belmont right????

well I can't find anything that says how big he is but by looking at the pics of him I'm going to guess anywhere over 16.2 hh.

EDIT-- Barbaro....there is no such thing as a 16.5 hh horse. you can only go to 16.3 hh and then it goes to 17 hh....

  2. There really is no site that says his height. But being a racer he would probably be around 16hh - 16.5hh. I would estimate 16.1hh because he's not like overly tall or really short either.

    Hope I helped! =]

    LOVE that horse.

  3. Curlin at 3 stands 17 hands! He still has a bit more growing to do so I look for him to probably reach atleast 17.1 I have pictures of him at the Derby in the sadlding paddocks and he is HUGE!!!!! I'll have to scan them and put them up here b/c they show how massive of a colt he is. I gotta say I was all about Street sense at the derby but Curlin did impress me a TON, it really came as no suprise when he came back to win the Preakness. I almost feel that had Street sense not run the Derby and Rags To Riches no run the Belmont he would have sweeped all three. He reminds me a lot of Secretartiat not only looks but attitude!

  4. Is Curlin your horse? Unless you can supply a picture and the horse's breed, we could assume he's 8.2hh or 19.3hh.

  5. I am guessing 16.3 to 17 hands...They are always talking about how big of a colt he is so I would say he is bigger then the norm.

Edit: Blasi, who is overseeing the Preakness winner until Asmussen arrives at Belmont Park on Thursday, said the 17-hands tall Curlin continues to develop.

Thanks for the thumbs down!!! Especially when I am right!!!
