  1. Nascar officials said he didn't break any rules so there must not be a definitive rule regarding passing the pace car. Since the race was over after the last caution it wasn't like he was trying to advance his position. He already had the race won.

  2. What Rackpurdue said.

It must be one or two times more than Junior passed it.  Get over it already.

  3. Apparenty this guy just likes wasting his points and giving everyone else freebies.  Thanks Man.

  4. UM...I don't think they actually penelize the driver if it wasn't inentional. Thye can tell when a driver throttles or breaks. He was coasting, so I don't think they counted it. Had he had the throttle when he passed the pacecar, they would have penelized him. But NASCAR knew that he wasn't throttling, so it didn't count.

  5. Wedensday and people still blabbing about this race...

  6. probably as many times as you're gonna ask this stupid question

if you're that mad about it write nascar

  7. Only people affiliated with NASCAR knows since they don't make the rule book public. I'm sure there are a lot of gray areas in it, though.

To be on the safe side, I'll say "88" times :).

  8. If your name is Dale Jr= as many times as you need to

    Anyone else= 0

  9. To answer your question Jr never did "pass" the pace car he went ahead of it then fell back in order to pass the pace car he would have had to go around the track which he didn't erego he violated no rule thus no penalty.

  10. Depends on who you are, what team you drive for and how deep you are in Brian Frances pockets!  Seriously, I have seen races, where a driver is warned once, then blackflagged. But, as with Nascar, different day, different driver, different rule.

I am not a moron, but obviously the jerk that called me one is an ignorant Jr fan. Please keep your trap shut, thumbs down me, but do not personally address me and call me a moron.

With you being a Nascar historian, you should really get your facts straight.

  11. dispite boneheads moronic answer, no one in the history of NASCAR has ever been penalized for pulling slightly ahead of the pace car like junior did. so to answer your question, no one knows because no one, i repeat NO ONE has ever been penalized for it. so dry your eyes and get over it haters.

  12. he pulled up beside it but neverr passed the pace car.and nascar did tell him on the scanner if he passed it he would be black flagged.

  13. Don't know for certain if your are tne nasty Tword, and don't care.  The fact of the matter is Junior won the race, that aint gonna change.  huh  I have read that lots of races have happened where the drivers have done that same thing Nascar warns them and thats it.  So Junior Won!  Soooo.

    Go Junior!
