  1. U are allowed to take home 3200 f**s or 3 Kilogram of tobacco (60 x 50g packet); but only from the Spanish continent and the Belearic Islands.

NOT FROM THE CANARY ISLANDS, NOT FROM GIBRALTAR!

  2. I agree with Cero.

  3. You are allowed to take home 3 kilograms of tobacco. Having said that, if you are returning from the Canary Islands, be aware that even though they are part of Spain you cannot take the same allowances home to the UK. From Tenerife it is only 200 cigarettes.

  4. 60 x 50gms packs = 3 kilograms.  The tobacco is, in most cases, packed in 10 x 50gms wraps.   Amounts carried above this figure could result in questions being asked by H.M. Customs staff.                                                                Here are some prices for tobacco in Spain -

    Golden Virginia - 45 euros.

    Old Holborn - 43 euros.

    Drum - 39 euros.

    Samson - 38 euros.

    Cutter Choice - 27.50 euros.

Amberleaf - 25 euros.  (An excellent buy & good tobacco).

All the above are packed in 10 x 50gms wraps.  Make sure you purchase from an Official Tobacco Store (tabacos), where all the prices are the same under Govt. supervision.

  5. 60 x 50 gram packs and 16 x 200 ciggies.

HOWEVER - I had all mine confisgated in April because I couldn't prove that I DIDN'T buy tobacco and ciggies when I went in February ??!!

I was one packet UNDER the limit and it would cost me £1500.00 to contest it with costs etc and I was held , like a criminal for over 3 hours at the airport and told not to try buying any tobacco products until after next October !
