Can anyone tell me how to add pictures to a album in a yahoo group?

I am trying to make an album in a yahoo group. when I try to add my photos that I have scanned and uploaded to my computer and also have cropped and resized them in adobe elements it gives me a message of "unsupported image type"'

Can anyone tell me what is wrong and explain how to do this?

it says you have to use jpeg's  and keep the total upload under 5 megs.. try doing one at a time at first..
