Ares IS free software. Always has been, always will be. Plenty of people take the product code Ares makes, bundle malware for your pleasure, rename it something like Ares Turbo, and sell it to unsuspecting users. At best, it's the very same thing as the official client, and at worst, you'll get malware and or give your credit card info to a criminal syndicate.
