Can anyone tell me how to get the exact miles from one place to another on the computer?

i need to know how to get the exact milage from start point to end point, on the computer. I just need how many miles it exactly is from start to finish. I've tryed google and yahoo map and all i can find is direction from start to finish and nothing on mileage so the help would be greatly appreciated. I believe there has to be away to find out and i just ain't doing it right or going where i should

try mapquest

whereis.com

Then click on classic whereis in top left.

Click on Get Directions.

Live Search can give you directions and distances between milestones, if you type in starting and end points.

The site also shows a map, with road, aerial or bird's eye view, similar to Google's.
