  1. Un belivable!!! If you did mean Basketball your in the wrong Catagory

If a jump shot in pool T.S Tim will be along shortlyhttp://www.trickshottim.com...

  2. Thanks Johnny. First, it helps to line up the shot as if the obstructing ball wasn't there. Then elevate your cue 45 degrees, keeping the same line. Aim straight through the exact center of the ball (the center of the sphere) or a little below. Keep a loose wrist and snap it straight through the cue ball. Don't be afraid to hit the table, you have to go all the way through the cue ball and follow through. Jump cues help to go over a full ball, but you can probably clear half a ball with a regular cue.

  3. It is illegal to do a jump shot in pool or snooker as someone has already said! Why don't you learn to do a swerved shot instead! lift the cue to almost 90 degrees and strike down on one side of the cue ball hard! This will (if perfected) make the ball go round the obscuring ball and continue in a straight line! This is where I got my nick name of DIGGER!

  4. jump and shoot at the same time, coordination helps

  5. Put the ball in the net.

    And jump, too.

  6. There is a lot that goes into a jumpshot.  The first thing you should always remember to do is "square up" with the basket.

Your feet should be planted evenly and perpendicular to the basket. Bend your knees slightly, bring the ball in close to your head using your forearm as a sight to line up with the basket, and in one uniform movement...propell yourself off the floor while releasing the ball.

The more you practice the more natural it will feel and you will develop your own style and rhythm.  There is no science to it.

Practice, shoot a hundred shots a day.  The more you shoot the better you get the more fun you have.

    Hope this helps.   Peace

  7. youtube it.

  8. U jump, u aim, you SHOOT!!!! GOALLLL lolz

  9. It's simple, jack the back end of your stick up and hit down on the ball causing the ball to bounce off the table. It takes a quick firm stroke to accomplish this. It's much easier if you use a jump cue. Do not to hit the felt with your cue tip it could tear the felt.

  10. Stand anywhere inside the three point line with your basketball.

Have your body square to the hoop.

Bend your knees, and keep your feet shoulder-length apart.

The arm that you shoot with should be under the ball and your other hand should be on the side of the ball.

Make sure the starting point of the basketball is at your neck (this is called the shooting pocket). Spread your fingers to gain more control of the ball and get easier follow-through.

Jump straight up or slightly forward for longer shots.

Jump and put your legs together as you shoot. It may take practice, but after hard work, you will master it.

Release the ball, forcing it up and forward with one hand only. That other hand is just for aiming (that includes not moving the wrist of the aiming hand toward the basket at the time or release

  11. You are not allowed to use jump shots on a pool or snooker table as it messes up the balls and ruins the conentration of other players.  It would look like Happy Gilmore playing pool! Shame on you!

  12. When you jump, look shraight at the basket. Also, jump right up, not to the side or at an angle. Don't try to get a "swish", just get it in. It is easier to hit it off the backboard thus making it go in. to shoot, push your hand up hard. Try this, practice it. You will soon master the "jumpshot".
