  1. The simplest way is to calculate the book value - get the balance sheet, look for total shareholders' equity and divide that by the no. of shares issued and outstanding. That will be the book value of 1 share. Multiply that by the no. of shares you own and that will be the value of your shares. But this ignores the potential worth of the company and other intangibles like goodwill. It will cost you to get a professional valuer to value the firm properly.
