  1. Savings,checking and Certificates of Deposit accounts are FDIC insured. Investment accounts like IRA's are not FDIC insured .


  2. They would be called "Bank" of America if they weren't.  I'd start with their site, but that'd be under the common sense category.

  3. YES -Bank of America is the largest bank in the USA, so yes to your question. just visit any local branch and u will see a sticker stating they are FDIC Insured outside and inside the bank, also the website.

  4. I think Bank of America is insured by the FDIC like any other bank.  Why would you think it is not insured????    YOu should be able to find out on their web site or call the customer service department or a local branch.
