OK u kno how humans evolve from apes or those cave men types on the geico commercial with dragging knuckles? well, now look at us! are humans going to evolve again into something else. If so -- what will we look like, when will it happen, and what will cause this? Thank you very much.

  1. we will evolve into mutants dude, havent u ever seen xmen?

  2. Look at our politicians and tell me we haven't already started to turn back

  3. we are evolving everyday... you see history you slowly see change... in the near future.. scientists predict we'll lose our little toes and our appendix.... it is a slow process but it happens

  4. the Idea that people came from apes is absolutley, positivly false.  The fossil record does not confirm that idea, the scriptures dont teach it, there is no foundation for that at all.

It is a false liberal political idea.  started by darwin, and even he admitted there were problems with it.

Human beings have a devine potential, and are children of god.  Which makes us all brothers and sisters.  With a destiny of becomming like him someday.

  5. we dun know if we evolved from an "ape". it is just a theroy that most of the light headed scientists believe in.

  6. really? we didnt evolve from apes?

  7. We did not evolve from apes!

And even if we did, I dobut we would evolve again.

  8. LOL!

Darwin will cry at the criticism that humans did NOT evolve from apes. Most likely true though. But according to astronomy, we are approaching the new Age of Enlightenment. Look at the rise of Emo population! Emo, many of them are smart. It is said that in 2025, we'll all be emo, understanding the true nature of our existence.

And yeah... we might also become mutants what with the wave of psychics flooding the world.

  9. we will definitely be getting taller, due to a better diet

our jaws might recede over time (or not, since people find prominent jaws attractive and that will affect the gene pool)

our genitals are getting bigger (i'm serious)

    longer legs, less hair

    lemme think

  10. Evolution is an extremely slow process heading toward no particular goal other than survival. It doesn't "happen" and tomorrow you see a totally different species in place of the one that went before. It's just a gradual change where the characteristics that enhance the ability to survive and reproduce become more widespread and those that don't fade away. Yes, humans are doing it even now.

  11. Yes.

I doubt there will be a major change in appearance (it would take thousands and thousands of years, and as a User already said, we'll more than likely be extinct by our own hand by then).  That being said, evolution is happening all the time.  The cause is our ability to adapt.  Adapting to our environment allows us to constantly evolve.

For example, look at the appendix (the organ, that is).  It's purpose has puzzled scientists for years!  Apparently it serves no importance, and people who have had it removed, or people who don't have it (some cases report that people were born without one) live healthy lives, with no problems arising from the lack of the organ.

Could it be that the appendix once had a function, but has become useless over the course of human evolution?  I'd say so.

  12. Evolution is a theory not a reality. Notice the words, "may have", "most likely," "highly probable", kind of words. It is difficult to explain how a "Big Bang" developed a conscience, as most human have today. It is more likely that we adapt, not evolve. Mostly all things in nature work in harmony with one another and to each others benefit. We consume, destroy, hurt, cause illnesses, kill, etc. Of what benefit are we to nature? Why did nature "create" something that can and maybe will, destroy it? Hard to believe.

  13. hopefully we turn into angels and the world will be in marmony.

  14. Well I know a few people who became Jackasses. But I don't think it had anything to do with evolving.

  15. Looking at the timespan necessary for major changes in evolution, it seems unlikely we'll make it that far without becoming extinct, most likely because of our own behaviour.

Pure science, but if you can't deal, thats your problem.

  16. no
