Abslolutely yes.

YES they make great pets, please be aware that not all birds talk, even if the breed is known to talk, the one you get might not be a talker.....but please check you state laws and see if it is legal to  own a quaker parrot, it is illegal in pennsylvania to own on of these birds.

You will have trouble with this guy, they tend to bound with one and only one person. They are cage aggrieves and will protect their cage area.

They are great talkers and they will continue to learn new things for many years to come..
