  1. WHY do people who ask these questions never say what their NATIONALITY is?  it really DOES matter in order to give you any kind of answer if I know what your NATIONALITY is.

If you are AmeriKan, you just fly to Mexico City... then get on a plane to Havana and fly there and, when you go through Immigration in Havana, they will just stamp your visa on a plain piece of paper that you can discard before returning to the U.S.

  2. hallo,

you are required to apply for visa.

follow this link to see the requirements.

  3. You need an up-to-date passport and a carta turista (tourist card). Usually these are provided for you through your travel agent when you book your ticket, or with the airline and will be passed out during your flight en route to Cuba.

You fill it out on the plane. At customs they take the first half...the second half you keep with you (and don't lose) to show upon leaving Cuba.

Here's a picture of your tourist card:

  4. That depends on what country you are a citizen of.  Check with the Cuban embassy or consulate in your country.  They will know the rules.

If you are a US Citizen, there is no Cuban consulate nor embassy.  Unless you are going to  Cuba in a few very limited categories, you cannot travel to Cuba.  If you are a US Citizen with family in Cuba, you should check with a travel agency that works with people in your situation. There are some in Florida.  If  you are going under another category, go to whoever is arranging your group.

  5. If you are European you don't need any Visa. Enjoy this Winderful Country with great people!

  6. Yes you do, if you have booked your trip via a travel agent then your visa should be supplied via them, if not you will have to contact the Cuban embassy and apply for one that way.

  7. Contact the Cuban embassy

  8. contact you agent or call the cupen emmpassy

  9. Yes you do, they are about £15 each and you can get them from the consulate I think (we got ours with our holiday people, Virgin)
