Can anyone tell me if the DVR can record in TV?

Question

I wanna get a TIVO DVR but I don't know if it's gonna record something in TV like I record my games in PS2, XBOX, GAMECUBE,etc. and put them in my computer so, if the Tivo can record from TV then I'll buy it. If Tivo can only record shows in cable from satellite, I might not buy one. I would appreciate it someone give some info

Hi Jericto,

If I understand your question correctly TiVo will not do what you want. It records incoming video from cable, satellite or over the air. It could be rigged to do what you want but so could any DVR and with a generic DVR you wouldn&#039;t have a monthly fee.
