  1. TRY "LAMPADA" I THINK THATS WHAT IT'S CALLED?

  2. Pancho Villas Restaurant - (0141) 5527 737 - Bell St

    Chiquito's - (0141) 4204 050 - The Quay, Glasgow

    Lampada Mexican - (0141) 9580 995 - 1015 Crow Rd,

Not tried any of them myself, but hope it helps!

I have tried La Tasca in Renfield Street and it was great. Can highly recommend the ribs - so tender and tasty. Also the garlic mushrooms were fab. They do a lunch time deal - as many tapas as you can eat for a tenner. Well worth the money!

  3. Try Cafe Andaluz for Tapas.  There is one in the West End and one in the city centre.  If you go on 5pm.co.uk it will show you discounts available.  I think the one in the West End has a better atmosphere but the one in City Centre has just as good food.

  4. yes, loads

  5. http://www.yell.com/quickclicks/SP/R/Res...

  6. Pancho Villas  in  Bell St.

    Chiquitas  down at  The Quay

    Lampada  in  Crow Rd.

If you try.........www.upmystreet.com you may find some more. good luck.

  7. Wish I could join you, I'm dying for a decent Mexican meal! There are a few in Glasgow. Underworld beneath the central station has mexican food, although I haven't been.

  8. Panchos Villas on Bell Street is a decent mexican restuarant in Glasgow.  I've never been to Lambadas on Crow Road, but please please PLEASE do not go to Chiquitas at the Quay - it is awful!  They serve everything with chips and you could make better mexican food at home with one of those kits. The meal I had was so bad I was upset I had to pay for it.

In terms of Tapas, there's quite a few good places.  A few people have mentioned Cafe Andaluz in the city centre and west end and it is by far the best.  There's also La Tasca on Renfield Street and Barca Tapas and Cava bar in Princes Mall on Buchanan Street.  Avoid El Sabor in the Merchant City - it's often very busy but the food is repulsive.  I think it must be kept busy by people who are visiting Glasgow and don't know any better!

If I had to pick between Mexican and Tapas in Glasgow I'd go for Tapas.  Cafe Andaluz is excellent and far better than Panchos Villas (which is my favourite mexican).

  9. Probably , but i bet that there are no Scottish restaurants in Mexico.
