Question:

Can anyone tell me if there is any grants for a dyslexic adult to help them with their dyslexia?

i did not mean for everyday use or looking for somthing for the sake of getting something for free. i have just completed 2 year at collage and only last year i was diagnosed with having dyslexia. this year not sure if to go back to collage or go back to work.

  1. Not that I know of, you get a things for it if you go to university tho, like a free computer etc. I am dyslexic myself and have never heard of any such grants in the real world. What do you need if for? Going by the fact that you have posted on here, you can obviously read and write. I don't understand how you think a grant will help you? Please elaborate.

    There are free classes and stuff you can take with Learn Direct.

  3. In what way?

    At college / uni you can apply for a disabled student's allowance. For work you need to contact "Access to work" for money to help with equipment.

  4. Yes, if you are at college or university.

    There are also lots of free literacy/numeracy classes, and that would be a good start.
