I am 36 weeks 1 day pregnant. I have been experiencing back ache, headaches, pains in legs, hips, abdominal, and v****a, Ive been having some braxton hicks with nausea. Is these signs of labor and if so how long do you think it will be before I go into labor? Ive had these symptoms for 3 days.

  1. Those are some signs but until u see blood exit ur v****a then u know its time!

  2. With my first, my whole pelvic area was extremely painful for about 2 weeks before I gave birth, ( to the point where getting out of bed would take a good ten minutes because it hurt so much.)

The day I went into labour, I had braxton hicks every 30 minutes.  You could set your watch to it.  That lasted about 6 or 7 hours, then they started becoming more painful , and every 5 minutes.....off to the hospital we went.  My water broke and an hour and 45 minutes later our little girl was born.

    Good luck!

  3. unfortunately it could be weeks before full labour, its frustrating I know. these are all signs but they are all early signs too. have you lost your mucus plug? Just keep active, lots of s*x and warm baths.

    good luck x*x

  4. That can be signs of a lot of things. You need to call your OB now.

  5. 36 weeks is a little too early for labor and if you suspect it, call your doctor or go get checked at the hospital.

Try taking a warm bath - if it slows down and does away, it's not labor. Good Luck!

  6. these are some signs i think this may be pre labour

  7. I had the same thing all last week but the pain never went away im 37wks and 1 day, i ended up in the hospital becuase my pain got so bad i cant really walk anymore and i only weigh 138 my doctor just watched me and the baby and seen that everything was ok, he told me its just the baby moving down farther into my pelvic area, and getting ready but he told me to take it easy and rest as much as i can good luck you are almost there just relax congrats

  8. It can be pre-labor. just wait and see how it progresses.

  9. Ok so my baby dropped at about 34 weeks.  I know this because it was a Sat. and OMG my pelvic and vajj hurt so bad I couldn't even get up.  It hurt so bad to even walk.  Now I'm 36 weeks almost 37 on Thursday.  And I still have the same pain but some days its better then others.  Walking helps the baby get lower and lower into the pelvis area where he should be.  that's why they tell you to walk.  But some women the baby just kinda falls down into there.  And we have really bad pain.  Think as the pain as a good thing, Positive ! means baby is low and getting ready to come out.  the old rule is wants baby drops 2-4 weeks.  With first time moms anyway.

We are pretty close with our due dates.   Congrats

    9/11 baby Seth

  10. i know how you feel,

i have had all these symptoms also since about 36 weeks also. and  now i am over due. i was hoping id go early as i am sure you are hoping too?  the only difference now is that my contractions that i am having are getting more  frequent, lasting a little longer. my midwife said to me that from all my symptoms, sounds like my body is preparing itself for labor.
