Can anyone tell me if this company is legitimate, Independent Finance Co. in London, England?

This is supposed to be a Security Company who is holding funds for me and I wanted to know if they are creditable. This is in connection with an email I received which could possibly be a scam. I would appreciate knowing if anyone has come across them via email.

If they want you to send them some money before they send you your winnings, then it is a SCAM.
