Can anyone tell me please where I can learn how to drive a digger/JCB in Ireland?

Thanks for your answer but it's not for me. I need a course where the trainee will come out with a certificate of competency.

  2. Fás have the following quote at the bottom of their entry for 'The Construction Skills Certification Scheme' (CSCS)

    "FÁS is currently developing a wide range of Plant, Scaffolding and Roofing programmes for new entrants which are schelduled for release in 2007."  They may be the best to contact regarding training.

  3. Do what I did. Go to a place that rents them. Rent one for a weekend and they will show you how to use it. Its not that hard. They will even deliver it for you. Take it home and practice with it. The digger in the back is the hardest to use but a weekend with it will pretty much show you how it works. Take your time using the machine and the work will be neater.

  4. Sorry had a look but couldn't find anything.  Know a few places that do forklift training but thats not much use

  5. Our cousin Dustin might be able to help ya out. You'll find him with a bit of 2 by 4 on the Long Mile Road but he's off on his hols to Serbia soon so you'd better hurry!
