why is it such a big deal to all the non Jr fans (and espceially the haters) that Jr won?

He ran a good race and he won end of story....if it had happened to be another driver it wouldn't of been such a big deal. all this c**p makes me not want to come back on answers again... I've got reported 3 times in less than 24 hours just for saying that I was happy for Jr and that I thought the haters should go away!! does anyone else feel this way?

Agreed. Why is Y!A such an unfriendly place sometimes!? Aren't people allowed to like who they like and support whoever they want to?

I mean, the same could be said for drivers that you 'dislike', but some of the remarks made to other users on here are borderline abuse. Can we just cut out all the c**p and come together as NASCAR fans?!

Is it so hard to accept that not everybody feels the same way as you? We can have conversations and debate about things, but treating Y!A as a platform to hate someone else and rub it in the face of all of their fans is quite ridiculous.

All I can say to you, rackpurdue, is that the people running around stirring up trouble have nothing better to do and just want to rattle everyone's nerves. We can't let it work.

Congrats to Jr. and ALL of Jr. Nation! Our boy got a win... we should be happy, no matter who wants to spoil it for us!

Frankly I can't wait to see what happens around here if he wins the championship.... hahahaha, can you IMAGINE?!

Don't leave us, I've been on here since last yr, I've been reported so many times I quit counting..Ya gotta be tough on here to be a Dale Jr fan... There are some people on here, just love to hate him, no matter what, if he looses they love it and if he wins the hate wagon runs over...Hang in there. If Dale Jr wins 2 or 3 more races and if he wins the championship, OMG it will probably blow up Y/A it will get so wild on here... We all should be able to have fun on here without all the violence....

I knew this would happen. Jr wins, and he still get c**p. But they are just ticked because they (the Jr haters) can't rub it in any more he is on a losing streak. Now they'll move to Gordon.

The win was to be expected, and so was the bashing on here afterwards. I knew it as soon as he crossed the line with the win that it would be ugly in here. But, that's the way it works here for the most part. If it would have been Rowdy that won, with the same circumstances, some (not all) of Jr.'s fans here, and some of the trolls that just like to cause trouble for ALL fans, would have been on here trashing Kyle too. I think all of us, who are the true fans of the sport, just need to start ignoring them, and don't even post any reply at all. But, that is easier said that done when it is your favorite taking the beating.

Good question. I'm not sure why it is a big deal. Jr is 3rd in points and has been close to winning several races. We knew he would win, it just happened to be yesterday.

I am not a fan of the 88, and yesterday seemed like a let down because it was a fuel milage win. h**l, even Danica can win a fuel milage race. I will say, however, there have been three or four races this year that he had the best car in the race, and lost for various reasons, so this win is certainly justified.

I don't care that Jr. won. Yes  I would have rather seen the man behind him win. But Jr winning is a good thing. I think that this win will help his whole team. And with him doing better I think it will add more to the chase this year.

No matter which side of the Junior fence you are on, he won the race. It's in the books. Those who don't like it can just go pound rocks. A win is a win is a win. Good for Junior! That's a huge monkey off his back. I loved his interviews! He's not my #1 driver but I can appreciate all that he's been through and this win was sweet for him.

They are upset because it appears NASCAR did all they could possibly do, to try and hand Jr the race.

- He repeatedly passed the pace car while trying to conserve fuel, no penalties.

- NASCAR held Vickers back in the field, while it was clear he passed Martin before the caution. Vickers had a good car and when he got held up in traffic didnt have time to catch Jr.

- A NASCAR offical blocked Kenseth in the pits.

Eury Jr. and Dale Jr. gambled and it turned out good for them, but it looked like they got a lot of help. Maybe Im being cynical, but with allegation of sexual harrassment afly the only way to top that story is a JR win.

I'm right there with ya on this one. I've tried before to figure out why they have to be so dang mean n nasty when it comes to Junior. It's a catch 22....he won the race now they're sayin' NASCAR gave him the race. If anyone else would of won it would of been a whole different story. Sometimes I do stay away because I don't want to loose my temper & go off on the haters. I'm a better person than that. I don't bash drivers. I understand that every one is entitled to their own opinion but there is no need to be downrite mean n nasty about it. I just ignore some of the haters and don't even give them the satisfaction of giving them a thumbs down.

If it's not the bashers it's the trolls. Nasty lil buggers they are! Ya can't leave...don't let them get to you. That's what they want. Bottom line....they know Junior is on a roll and they're scared.  Peace n smiles    =o~}

It's not a big deal.  The only reason that I'm upset about it at all is because I don't want to hear about it.  Not being a Jr. fan, I don't want to hear for the next several months about how he won a single race.  If it were someone else who won ONE race, it wouldn't matter.  Ya know?

I tried shutting my ignition on and off this morning on the way to the office and almost took out a Starbucks in the process.  Yeah I had it bad! Do not attempt this in a Jeep Wrangler.  It's very dangerous.

The moral to the story is Jr did a great job conserving fuel as well as laying down a great re start to hold the lead.  It does kinda of stink that most people are failing to mention what a fantastic job Tony Eury Jr did.  His fuel calculations were accurate and it was a gutsy call to stay out.

Oh sorry about the last part of your question.  Just ignore em.  Don't lose sleep over this c**p.

Their were a lot of Jr haters BEFORE he went to HMS.  Many of the doubters and haters consider them the "evil empire" and want them to fail at any costs.  They are now starting to realize that stories of HMS being subpar this year were perhaps premature and merely wishful thinking.  Does JGR have a c***k in their armor?  I'm not so sure about that but they will not win this championship uncontested.  If you give your honest opinion about enough things, you will keep getting reported by the multiple ID posters hiding behind their computers.  Don't let them discourage you, they are here one day and gone the next.  Jr got robbed of a couple of wins earlier in the year (Vegas and Richmond) so I have NO problem congratulating him and all his fans for a hard fought win yesterday.  You are an asset to this forum and I hope you continue to contribute as much as you are comfortable with.
