no one knows... so there is good theories for each

THEORY #1 THE CHICKEN CAME BEFORE THE EGG: Ok, now why people may believe this is because think a Chicken would come first so it could lay more eggs.

THEORY #2 THE EGG CAME BEFORE THE CHICKEN: The theory behind this is that an egg would come first because ALL chickens come out of eggs!

but note *there is no proof that either of these are right ANYWHERE no one knows*

the chicken. cause the egg couldnt of just appered, and hatch by its self.

Well, using logic one can say that the egg was first, because in the process of evolution, the ancestor of the chicken (see my cources) lay eggs before the chicken actually existed. Whenever in history the first chicken was actually born, it was born from an egg, because otherwise it wouldn't be a chicken. However, eggs can come from other animals besides chicken.
